STUDENT GOVERNING COUNCIL

The Dean of Students’ Office at  is responsible for promoting the welfare, discipline, and holistic development of all trainees. The office serves as a vital link between students and the institute administration, ensuring that student concerns, ideas, and needs are addressed in a timely, transparent, and professional manner.

Through this office, the institute supports student leadership and participation in governance by working closely with the Student Governing Council (SGC). This council represents the voice of students and plays an important role in enhancing communication, cooperation, and harmony within the institution.

Kiirua Technical Training Institute has an active Student Governing Council composed of elected student leaders who represent the interests of the entire student body.

Objectives of the  Council

The Student Governing Council aims to:

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the institution by supporting the implementation of administrative decisions.

  • Unite students from different courses, departments, and campus.

  • Promote cooperation, teamwork, and mutual understanding among students.

  • Represent student interests and concerns to the administration.

  • Foster harmonious relationships between students and staff members.

  • Help resolve disputes among students in a fair and constructive manner.

  • Provide guidance, advice, and support to individual students when needed.

  • Promote a peaceful and conducive environment that supports academic excellence and personal development.

Through active engagement with the student leadership, the institute ensures that students participate meaningfully in governance while promoting responsibility, discipline, and a strong sense of community within Kiirua Technical Training Institute.
